Originally inspired by souvenir dolls from Japan , the name Matryoshka comes from a popular Russian female name of the time, Matryona or Matriosha. The name Babushka, meaning Grandmother, is also often used for these dolls.
Well these Matryoshkas certainly aren't your Grandmother's Babushkas!! But be careful, assembling and disassembling our Matryoshkas can become highly addictive.. These Matryoshkas range in height from 4 1/2 to 1 3/8 inches (114mm to 30mm) in height.
